What the Cruise Control Light Means
The cruise control light on a your car confirms the system is switched on or actively holding a set speed. It is informational; a fault would usually show a separate message.
Common Causes
- Cruise control switched on (normal)
- Brake light switch fault (can disable cruise)
- Speed sensor fault
How to Fix It
- Confirm you switched cruise control on
- Tap the brake to cancel and re-set as needed
