What the Fog Light Indicator Means
The fog light indicator on a your car simply confirms your front and/or rear fog lights are switched on. It is an informational (usually green for front, amber for rear) telltale, not a fault.
Common Causes
- Fog lights switched on (normal)
- Switch left on inadvertently
How to Fix It
- Check the fog light switch position
- Turn fog lights off when visibility is good
- Confirm the indicator matches the switch
- If a bulb is out but the indicator is on, replace the bulb
